16th South African Film & Television Awards Call for Entries Open

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), an agency of the department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, the custodians of the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), has officially opened submissions for local production companies to submit their entries for the 16th Annual South African Film and Television Awards (#SAFTAs16).

The SAFTAs were established to honour, celebrate, promote and reward the creativity, quality, and excellence of South African Film and Television talent and content and to encourage entrepreneurship and the development of new talent within the industry.

The NFVF is encouraging the local film and television industry to submit their entries to www.saftasonline.co.za before the 24th January 2022.

The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) are presented annually under the auspices of the National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa (NFVF). The awards were established in 2006 and are presented annually.
